| Shifting gears
Kevin Kyser holds a B.F.A. degree in graphic design from Grand Valley State University. After college, Kyser worked at several Grand Rapids-area advertising agencies, a hospital in Toledo, OH, and eventually settled in at The Muskegon Chronicle. It was there that he acquired valuable journalistic skills from seasoned editors, reporters and photographers. As art director, he led a staff of 8 through daily deadlines and a complete redesign of the newspaper. Kyser then left The Chronicle to become creative director at Gospel Communications International. The non-profit media company provided yet another perspective by reaching donors through the internet and films.
Over his 20+ year career, Kyser has earned numerous awards from the Society for News Design (International competition), Associated Press Managing Editor (National competition), Michigan Associated Press Editorial Association, Michigan Press Association and the Grand Rapids Ad Club.
In July of 2008, Kyser shifted gears and launched Kyser Design Werks. Today, he is proud to offer his experience, talent and skills to assist you with your business communications and marketing.
